MyFavoriteKid: Hey! We missed my half-birthday!!

Me: Oh. Sorry. Happy Belated.

MyFK: That's it?!! Aren't we going to celebrate it?!!

Me: Dude. People don't usually celebrate half-birthdays. They might acknowledge it, or mark it in some way, but there typically isn't a party and presents and stuff.

MyFK: But shouldn't we celebrate it half us much??

(silence)
