~~quick little note to gwen as a follow-up to yesterday's comments: I watched the eel/boullabaise episode, too! Hahaha! But! But! How 'bout that huuuuge fish head?!!

Ok, and now for some LOVE.

Squeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Sock yarn in my mailbox! Dyed in the colorway of "Sock Monkey"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somebody was payin' attention LOL.
That somebody was Lorena...one of my favorite "we-don't-really-know-each-other, but-we-totally-know-each-other, so why-not-hey, let's send I-saw-this-and it-is-soooo-you gifts to each other" friends.

Dude. You totally know my tastes.
Not that I needed to tell you that, though. Heh.
Now gimme all your Chuck Taylors. ROTFLMAO

LOVE LOVE LOVE the sock monkey yarn. I have some worsted yarn in the colors to make a sock monkey something...I'm thinking a sock monkey themed cowl!

Hee hee hee! :-)

I can't wait to see what you make! I think everyone so far has made the Monkey pattern (get it? Sock Monkey Monkey Socks? HAHAHAHA!) but I'd love to see it in something else - I'm sure whatever you make will be gorgeous, though. Enjoy!

PS. Unless you wear a mens 5 in Converse, quit making with those grabby hands - I see you eying my my fleece lined, tooled leather Chucks! ;p

I love it when two sides of my life merge.

I've been reading AmpuTeeHee for YEARS.

I know Lorena IRL (but first discovered her online) because I lived in Gainesville.

Now here's Hank's Yarn (MY LYS!) on AmpuTeeHee. It just makes me so damn happy.

Awww, shucks, Denise-- I heart you with big hearty hearts! And not just for TW's awesome shortbread! ;-) I can't wait for two more weeks, when you come back to G'ville for a visit. *hugs*

Hello, I'm Jacquie! Another Lorena connection here and I've been lurking on your blog for a while (maybe thanks to Lorena?)!

I meet her online then had a chance to hang out with her in REAL TIME and it was awesome. Awesome like sock monkey yarn that looks great as Monkey socks but would definitely look awesome as something else.

And AmpuT, you and Jacquie could and should totally meet up! They just don't make them any friendlier and fun that The Jacquinatrix. You live in roughly the same area, and I think are in some sort of yarn thing together- something about a... a sock a month? Pair of socks a month?

OMG, this may actually get me out to Cali, and I swore I'd never go there again after the last time...

Awwwww.... you're the sweetest!

But hey, do I know about your last trip to Cali? Do I *want* to know about your last trip to Cali!? :-S
