This is the time of year that I step outside late at night (when I should be sleeping *ahem*) to take a peek at what will soon become the winter sky. It's my favorite time of year for stargazing and spotting familiar constellations.
I think this year I should try to identify a few new ones.

We've had some glorious, clear as a bell night skies here in Michigan, too! Glad I'm not the only one who gazes at the stars on sleepless nights ;)
