so much for getting the parent of the year award.

Somehow MyFavoriteKid has grown up having no idea at all who Pete Seeger is.

I feel like I have failed as a parent.

I think perhaps when he was a baby I must have been too busy saturating him with Cat Stevens and Beatles tunes or something. 
So it's not a total loss.
