I haven't been able to watch tv all day with the footage of Steve Irwin all over the news.... so sad.
Hmmm. My feelings are a bit mixed. 1. I think it was tragic that his identity was the one that most people outside Australia associate with Australians - I've never met a single Australian like him. 2.He wasn't the brightest cookie in the box - he once claimed that our Prime Minister was the greatest political leader of all time. 3. But it is terribly sad that anyone dies like this. 4. But he was doing what he wanted, dying as he lived. 5. He did lots of for Aus tourism, but see 1.
