very very sad.

***I wrote this and posted this Thursday at 5pm, but blogger was down from noon Thursdy until Friday morning!!

No more Tad.

Tad, TheMostImportantGuy's kitteh, is "no moar".

Tad was a quiet and slightly gumpy ol' man of 17. His age was beginning to show the last few years, but a few weeks ago, TheMIG brought him to the vet for a booger-y nose and serious lack of appetite, and it was determined that Tad's kidneys were just huge with cancer and that he didn't have long given the signs.

For the last few weeks, every time TheMIG has stayed over, he has brought Tad with him. We have made the den his bedroom, but we'd bring him out as much as possible whenever my cats were outside and gone for the day and the dogs were snoozing. Even when my pets were around, they didn't bother Tad. I think they all knew :-( Many nights, TheMIG made up a little cot in the den so he could sleep in there with him.

The last couple of days Tad all I could keep saying was that Tad looked like a, "big bag o' bones". He wasn't in any pain at all, but he was getting wobbly, eating less and less, getting loved on more and more, but last night he just couldn't get comfortable, and was starting to lose bladder control (or at least couldn't make the effort to get to the cat box anymore). This morning TheMIG brought Tad to the vet and the vet assured that given his level of toxicity, had he waited longer, he probably would have started having seisures, so I guess the timing was right.

I am sad.

I have a couple of neato pictures of him....but they are on the blown out laptop (well, some of them are on an external drive, but I cant hook it up to the iPad)...so I can't show them to you right now. If and when I get access again, I'll do a belated memorial type thang. The photo here on this post (and I'm hoping like hell I was able to attach it correctly) was taken just this morning while TheMIG was sitting with him waiting for the vet's office to open. I think he looks like an angel.

TheMIG and I are going to be making a little pet cemetary at the new house. We had my old cat Tramp's ashes in a box, and FlashTheLeopardGecko is entombed in a box of sand we have yet to bury. TheMIG's other cat NewMew who passed a couple of years ago is buried at his current place, but the in the bottom of a huge panter box.....so we're going to move all of them to the new house and plant a lovely little memorial garden or something.

TheMIG told me a little story about Tad. He brought him home when he was a wee little kitten, and he already had NewMew. He put wee little wobbly kitten-head Tad down in front of NewMew to introduce them to each other, and NewMew looked at him, bopped him on the head, and walked away LOL. I do recall them being better friends as they got older, though ;-)

*sigh*

I am sad.

Or did I already say that...?

Yes. I did.

unbelievable

Woke up this morning, wanted to throw on some yoga pants, and realized they were in the clothes dryer. I went and turned on the machine for a couple minutes because hey, what's better than putting on warm clothes from the dryer on a cold, dark morning?

So I get dressed and start breakfast for MyFavoriteKid, and see MrDarcy jumping into the open door of the clothes dryer.

Awwww! How cute! He's gonna cuddle up in the warm.....hey....hey! Thats isn't curling up....he is peeing INSIDE the dryer...ON my clothes!!! AS$#@%& !!!!!!!!!

I chased him around with a squirt bottle until I cornered him, shoved his face in the clothes he had started to marinate, and locked him in the bathroom that conatins his litter box for a good half an hour.

*sigh*

Twit.

I went to the doctor right after redoing the laundry. I dont have bronchitis or pneumonia. Yay. But was offered the extra-strength cough syrup and was advised for the first time in my life that my blood pressure was a little high. I'll keep an eye on it. But I blame the cat.

wee

I think I am sinking into a wee bit of a pit. Just a wee one.

For sure, there is some big stuff going on...but mostly, on a day to day basis what is happening lately is that lots of stupid little crap and piling on top of that big stuff, and so the stupid little crap is adding up to feeling like a gigantic load of crap.

It's starting to get to me.

And little crap just has its way of hitting you in the face. Doesn't it?!?! Here is something that happened to me first this morning that might give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

MrDarcy (one my kittehs; named Darcy for a reason by the way, because he's gorgeous, but he pretty much acts like a social retard that has a golden stick up his arse)....

Well, apparently Mr.Darcy's servant did not clean out his cat box in a timely fashion (*ahem* that servant would be ME) . So MrDarcy found the yoga pants I had tossed near (but not in) the hamper last night, pulled them into the middle of my bedroom...danced all over them, covering my black pants with a whole bunch of chalky white litterbox kittyfooty-prints...and then peed on them.

Ass.

UNMITIGATED AND COMPREHENSIVE ASS.

(that's an inside joke for you '05 P&P fans)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As usual, I'm pretty capable of finding the humor in all things apparently, because as I sit here editing this post, I realize that MrDarcy peed on my clothes, and I am describing myself as being in a "wee" bit of a pit.
HA.
hmmmm...
...so perhaps putting birdfeeders in the tree outside the patio door was not such a good idea afterall.
and even with the best intentions, she is still tardy
Yesterday. It was only 7:10 am. And my entire day got derailed.
By this little guy:
That's a hummingbird in a coffin being prepared for burial. *sigh*
Let me tell you. I did something different yesterday. I let the kittehs out before taking MyFavoriteKid to the bus stop, and clearly that was a fatal error. In the 7 minutes it took me to get there and back, one of the cats caught their very first bird. They were going bananas with it by the time I walked in the door.
Now, I'm not a big fan of my kittens killing any animals. But I know that cats will be cats, and I know that I am going to be seeing more of this. I also know that a HUMMINGBIRD AS A FIRST KILL is pretty danged impressive. But I have some special feelings about hummingbirds, more so than the average bird (sorry, but I do discriminate, apparently).
In Native American spirituality, the hummingbird represents (in some circles) "Joy". So here I am, at 7-something in the morning, being faced with what I see as being "The Death of Joy." Now, this wouldn't be so bad if MrHummingbird was dead....but he was not. He was still alive when I got here. I got him away from the kitties, and I tried real hard to see if there was something I could do for him. He was breathing real hard, and I did some mojo-jojo energy type work to see if I could give him a hand. He opened his eyes and looked at me a few times, and after awhile, his breathing slowed, and he passed.
I lost it. LOST. IT.
Now, I don't want to go on harping about the car accident crap forever, but for those who are newer here and might not have the whole story, the reader's digest version is this:
Getting used to living my life with only one leg is NOTHING compared to living with the memory of being trapped in the car after the accident for two hours before anyone spotted me in my car. I was awake. I went through allllllllll the associated thoughts and emotions, if you can imagine.
How this relates is that this poor bird was dying from a traumatic experience right in front of me the day after the 5 year anniversary of my accident, and....well.....let's just say I cried so much yesterday that I couldn't get my face un-splotchy long enough to take those photos of the shawl.
So I took this one today...
...and now realize that I always seem to cut my head off anyhow, so sheesh....why I didnt just take it all red faced and spotty, I have no idea.
Hypoteneuse
Ravelry project page ~ Ravelry pattern page ~ Designer's pattern page
The other thing I did yesterday, in attempt to settle myself, was to wind 1400 yards of laceweight yarn, "ol' skool" style. For those of you who don't knit or play with string....that is A LOT of yarn to wind by hand.
Don't let the soda can fool you. That is very skinny yarn in one very big ball. It took foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, and it took a whole lot longer than I expected. It's for the next shawl I am about to work on.
I have a few other things to show you, and my PLAN is to be back tomorrow.
Y'all are soooo glad that the 2008 version of Blog365 ended and that I jumped off the bandwagon for 2009. Had I ran with it, you'd have been staring at 4 straight days of kvetching. I kid you not.
I am soooo sick!!
I started feeling poopy last Monday night, and it's been escalating ever since. It has been the oddest cold. I keep hoping that I'll go to bed and wake up feeling better in the morning. Instead, I wake up feeling worse in the morning, but by mid-day I feel like I'm on the upswing. Feeling better of course, I am then able to see the piles of used tissues and empty soup bowls, so I set myself to cleaning up....or let's be honest....embarking on other projects. This of course, makes me feel run down again. By nighttime I am exhausted, but then when I actually lay down in bed and put my head on the pillow, I cannot sleep! The angle kicks the cough up something fierce, even if I prop myself up. I toss and I turn, coughing and blowing my nose all night (I have been coughing so much, I can barely speak--which I am sure have a few people in my life just tickled pink). Then in the morning I get up and do the whole routine all over again. So. Much. Fun.
I've not just been plain old sick, either. Other points of interest involving my physicality this week were flipping my wheelchair over (with me still sitting in it, obviously) and cranking my neck into some twisted knot of doom....and thennnnnnn (you'll love this one) I was closing a kitchen cabinet door the other day and I konked myself in the face so hard it literally cleared up my sinuses. But now I have a headache. It's really something to have a headcold and be blowing your nose all the time when one side of it is all swollen and bruised. Whee.
ANYHOW, even being sick (and mute), I have managed to get a few things done during this last week of MyFavoriteKid's winter break:
* Broke down the holiday decorations, and got them back out into the garage (which is a freakin' mess, and I was going to work on reorganizing that this weekend, but was too sick to be out there in the freezing cold). I usually add a piece or two each year to my holiday collection. This year it was a felted snowman and tree that I bought from Chimera on etsy (yes...I realize I could have made this myself, but really...was I ever going to? Probably not. Did I already have the materials? No. So I chose to support a crafter). This year during the post-holiday sales, I also went on a quest for a Light Up Lawn Deer. You know, the kind where the head bobs back and forth? Well, I went hunting, but no deer. But I did score a moose for 80% off ;-)
* The reinstatement of the semi-annual purge of MyFK's bedroom. He and I used to do this together twice a year. Once in June before his birthday, and once in early December before the holidays. We'd go through every bit of his room and get rid of stuff he no longer used or needed, and we'd also comb through the closet for clothes that were worn out or no longer fit. We'd make a run to the donation place, and then he'd have space for incoming gifts or clothes that would fit. Only problem? We broke from the twice a year tradition when we moved here, and that means we hadn't done it in a year and a half (well, we'd done the clothing....but not the other stuff). His room wasn't a mess really, but there was no way he was going to have room to store anything new, especially bigger things like a basketball and a skateboard, which he got this year from Hannukah Harry.
* I knit a hat. I'm actually spending all of my knitting energy right now completing my last (and sadly long overdue, at this point) PayItForward Project. I am very close (it requires a ton of finishing work), and I will not stray off on other projects until it is complete. It is, however, a project too cumbersome to travel with, and it is freezing cold here (literally), so I started a hat to fiddle with while sitting at MyFK's basketball practices. This is my second hat in this pattern (you might recall the first one, which fit my friend better than myself):
Meret The 2nd (link to my ravelry project page)
* Starting to catch up on blogs. In no particular order of importance. I do have to show you one photo I ran into over at Kris Carr's blog:
A sheep with a prosthesis!!
* Teaching the Kitties About The Great Outdoors. Not that they need to be taught, mind you. They are both strays that were plucked directly from the great outdoors. I just haven't been letting them out since they came to live with us because of the hawks that fly around the hill behind the house. Well, the other day they bolted out the door one morning, so I was forced into it. They've been out for a bit every day since and the dog babysits.
L to R: Gaara (well ok, Gaara's butt...sorry), Mr.Darcy & Riley
Last, but not least, I have spent some time:
* Thinking about yarn. Just thinking about it. Like about how much I have and what to do about it. I'm still in the thinking stage, but I have some ideas.
More on that in another post, though.
I've already gone on too long.
See? If I was blogging daily, you'd just have gotten this same exact post all chopped up into little daily bits.
Nothing has changed here but frequency.
So go ahead. Pass me that can of Shut-The-Fuck-Up, will ya'?? ;-)
hahaha
today
The last 24 hours or so have been exhausting.
It started with MyFavoriteKid coming home last night from his long holiday weekend away with his dad and that side of his family. Let me tell you--- re-entry was a bitch. Not for me. I actually missed him terribly (our first Thanksgiving apart). But for him. He was having to leave the party parent and come home to the one that makes him wash his face and do his homework. It was not fun. And it carried over into this morning.
Once I got MyFK off to school this morning, I loaded up both kittens for an early morning trip to the vet. See, Gaara, the older one, is ready to be snipped. Darcy, who is 6 weeks younger, was due for a booster shot in his series. So I went in with both cats this morning, but only came back with one. This, of course, is freaking the dog out, who is sulking. Darcy on the other hand is being far friendlier than usual, I think because he's worried I'm going to give him away, too.
After the vet, I brought Mr.Darcy home and then headed over to TheScarDoc's for another glorious day of having my scar tissue cracked into smaller shreds. Lovely.
And my afternoon/evening was spent with MyFK, working on a little relationship rebuilding. It went well, actually. We had a really nice talk, and I think we're on the right path. Even if he isn't, I think at least I am. I did some thinking today on the drive to/from the city, and I could probably write an essay about the whole thought process, but it really boils down to this:
I am cultivating patience.
Not quite sure how I am going to pull that off yet, but that is the direction of my focus right now.
Here's a couple of photos, 'cuz I feel like it.
Gaara & Mr.Darcy, bird watching, taken the 29th
Mr.Darcy, taken tonight, presumably missing Gaara and drowning his sorrows,
as usual ~ I swear, he nips when I'm not looking
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On another note, early this morning I flipped my calendar to December. Usually the thought crossing my mind would be, "Where did this year go??!?!?"...but instead, my first thought was, "Only one month to go."

I cannot believe I have made it this far with Blog365.

do this for me and you'll be rewarded with a funny kitteh foto

No, I am NOT just filling in here with another kitty photo. I really do have an actual post tonight, and it's a favor to ask of you.

I have a good friend that just received some not-so-good news today. There's "something interesting" popping up in her breast exams, and she went in today for some more detailed looking around. Now they want to do a surgical biopsy.

Not the news one needs at any time, but especially not during the holidays. Ugh.

So she has asked if I would post and request that y'all please send out vibes for an anonymous special someone. You all know that I'm all about focusing the mojo directly to the intended recipient, but she hasn't told her family yet, and she probably won't tell them until...well until she is good and goshdanged ready. Anyhow, point is, they don't have the information yet, and well, you know how the internet can be. Just a few clickety clicks and then there you have it.

So, yes...please send out some love for my friend.

And then, as promised, here's another funny one of Mr.Darcy, who when he sleeps, I swear always looks like he has just come home from a night on the town:

I must double check his water dish. There's gotta be some Maker's Mark in there or something.

Thanks gang :-)

draggin'

Sorry it's just another photo, but it was a ScarDoc daytoday, and I am just flat out trashed.

Not quite as trashed as Mr.Darcy, however:

Talk about down for the count. Sheesh.

poor mr.darcy

It seemed to me that the new kitten had not been acting quite like himself, but it was hard to be sure. He's only been here a week and a half. He's been eating, but it seems a little less. He's been playful, but a little less. Sleeping a little more, purring less, a little crabbier. But maybe that is just the way he always is.

Then I started noticing that he was parking himself next to the water dish in the kitchen and not drinking out of it. Just staring at it. And then last night he started with the teeth chattering. He was sort of clicking his teeth together, like he was shivering. I spoke to a couple of people that have cats that do that when they get excited, and I thought maybe that was it. The first time I noticed Darcy doing it he was sitting in the window watching the bird feeder, and the second time I was putting down his food bowl for dinner. I made an appointment just to be sure, though....and then cancelled it thinking that he was probably just fine.

That was last night. Then this morning he wakes up and his whole chin is covered in drool. I call back the vet and reestablish the appointment.

Turns out Mr.Darcy has a virus that creates little ulcerations in the mouth. Poor Darcy has a huge one covering half his tongue, and it's infected. He was dehydrated (hence staring at the water dish--poor kitty hurt too much to take a drink!). They gave him a little intravenous fluids, some antibiotics for the infection, and some liquid pain medicine that coats and soothes the mouth.

He already seems to be doing a little better, but I have to keep a close eye on him this weekend. Have to keep an eye on Gaara the cat, too...the damn virus is very contagious. I asked the vet if I should separate them, and she said it was already too late, but hoped Gaara would be alright since he has completed his shots and boosters.

he stays

I decided to let it ride out the weekend before making a decision, but it's official. NewBlackKitten is staying. The animals are all getting along marvelously. The kittens are playing together like a couple of nuts. The dog was mopey and feeling a little left out, but he seems to be getting over it. And NewBlackKitten has been to the vet, has his first round of shots and tests, and has a clean bill of health.

Here he is, Mr.Darcy (you know--from Pride & Prejudice).
Do you see the resemblance?

NewBlackKitten as Mr.Darcy ~and~ Colin Firth as Mr.Darcy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I do. Don't you?
No?
Maybe this will change your mind?
He kitten acts like Mr.Darcy, too. Aloof, misunderstood, and isn't quite wired with the best of social skills ;-)
So now the NewBlackKitten has his name, as well as the beginnings of his slew of nicknames. I call him Mr.Darcy, or just Darcy. TheMostImportantGuy asked me what the character's first name is in the book, and I when I told him Fitzwilliam, he started giggling and is now calling him that, and sometimes just Fitz. MyFavoriteKid is calling him Mr.D. And now I have somehow started calling him KitTingTong (whereas Gaara the orange tabby is KittenHead).
If you arebig Colin Firth/Mr Darcy fan like I am, I ran into this next clip, and it's just for you. If you need a laugh :-)
i'll see your voting machine and raise you one boobiesquishing machine
I voted and got a mammogram this morning. Woohoo. Double Whammy.
After that I went to a knitting group at K2Tog in Albany, where they were also having a 25% off sale today, but only IF you
a) had your "I voted" sticker, and
b) did not talk politics (it was a politics free zone today--kinda nice to have the break for a couple of hours, to be honest with you)
Then I went to volunteer at the convalescent hospital. Today was one of those days that I left teary-eyed. One of the residents was telling me stories about eating cherries during the depression. We were talking about my yard and the fruit trees, and my cherry haul this past year. She said, "Oooooh, I just looooooved bing cherries! I can't eat them anymore. No teeth! But I remember, during the depression....times were tough and we didn't have a lot...well no one did....and my husband would sometimes come home with a little paper sack...and oooo I just knew what was in there!! I just loved them so! It was just a tiny handful, that's all we could afford, but they were so delicious! I will never forget those cherries."
I took a photo of us after she told me that story.
Me & Eleanor
I should mention that moments before we were talking about my fruit trees, she was telling me how depressed she is that they took her walker away from her and put her in a wheelchair since she is having a hard time standing. This means she now has to ask for help going to the bathroom, and she said, "...and they aren't very nice about it." Then she said, "I think I have outlived my usefulness."
Hence the teary-eyes.
I am glad we talked about cherries. If she could eat them, I would pick them off my tree next season and bring them to her in a paper sack. I might have to make some jam or something for her so she can at least have the flavor.
Man, I am getting all choked up again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In other "news" (ha---I almost typed "mews"):

I am slowly introducing the animals to each other. NewBlackKitten is curiously exploring the entire house. The dog wants to get at him, but is somehow managing to exercise enormous self-restraint (thank goodness). NewBlackKitten seems to be getting used to the dog being in the same room, but doesn't want him too close.

And Gaara the orange tabby? Gaara cannot stand NewBlackKitten. Hissing and growling or sitting in the corner being pissy...and then when the NewKitten is put back in the den for a bit so I can get crap done around here with having to keep an eye on things, Gaara is either hissing at me, or skulking. It is so sad. I am giving him extra extra love.

Here Gaara plays with one of his two favorite toys, while NewBlackKitten sneaks up behind him and peeks.

Then when Gaara figures out he is being watched....

...and Riley steps in to mediate.

I have no idea what this means yet in terms of whether or not NewBlackKitten stays or we find him a good home. You will know when I am no longer "undecided" though, because he will actually have a real name!!

taking the easy way out

I kid you not: I woke up at 5:30am today and I typed up that big long post I promised (oooh, I am soooo happy the clocks have changed back to standard--I can't stand daylight savings time, to be honest with you).
The post is pages and pages long. It is rambling. It needs some editing. And I didn't have time to get back to it during the day, and I am now too tuckered out because it is 10pm but feels like 11, of course. I need to get in bed before I just pass out.

So here is a tiny little tease about the chaos over here:

I know. I am insane. I am TheNewAndImprovedCrazyCatLady.

But the cuteness is almost blinding, is it not?

Hopefully it will make you forget that I am a slacker and also buy me one more day to get my fingers clicking on the danged keypad over here.

scary potential

So when TheMostImportantGuy rescued our new kitten, there was no mommy cat to be found anywhere in sight. No kitten siblings, either. There was, however, this one big male orange cat that had been coming around recently though. The question of the day has been if this big orange cat could possibly be KittenDad.

TheMIG has been trying to catch a photo of PotentialKittenDad for me, and tonight he finally got a decent shot:

MUCH better than the pic he snapped of PotentialKittenDad a couple of nights ago:

TheMIG says KittenDad was not hissing when the photo was taken. Maybe he was meowing or yawning or something...???
Or maybe he is just insane...???
And maybe it is has been passed along in the genes to my new kitten...???
...And maybe I had best start sleeping with one eye open!

kittenhead + dogdogdog = love

Gaara & Riley

At least the pets are mellowing out a bit. Unfortunately, everything else is super chaotic. Especially on my insides.

I have been having some "work" done on my scars lately and the treatments are managing to also push all of my emotional buttons. I knew that going into things, but still. It's really hard. Like, really really hard. Flashback land, basically.

Meanwhile, I knit. Thank goodness for soft fuzzy things.

I did read a couple of blogs today, but not as many as I would have liked to (thanks to the emo buttons...they make me weepy and I can't see the screen).

I am hoping tomorrow will be more productive.

please please oh please

puhleeeeeeeeeeez let this mean that you two have called a truce....

....and that I can get some sleep and not have to wash bedding every day.

just so it isnt all about the kitty

Have seen two stupid things in the past two days:

Store Closing. Now Hiring.
Ummmmmm, okay.

This KFC is CLOSE.
It might be hard to see, but someone hand drew in a little arrow so that now it reads, "This KFC is too CLOSE".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The dog and the cat get on my bed and cuddle and play. It is very cute until the dog overdoes it and scares the shit (or pee) out of the kitten. I have had to change the bedding 3 times in 5 days.
Let me tell you....changing a king sized bed, in a wheelchair, all the way down to the waterproof bed liner (thank God for THAT at least), SUCKS ASS.
It is do-able.
But it takes me about 3 times as long as it used to (back in the able-bodied days), and it exhausts me.
Especially when it happens at 10pm.
And especially when my washer and dryer are not large enough to accommodate a king sized comforter.
I am so cranky it's not even funny.
This had better not be that jinchuriiki or SandyWhoopAss y'all were warning me about yesterday.
more cat
Sorry.
But the kitty (and breaking up my version "Tom & Jerry") is still pretty much all consuming.
It shall not last forever.
Kitten had his first trip to the vet today. He was just thrilled to be back in the cat carrier.
Results:
He's healthy. He has had his first round of shots. He's been de-wormed (and matching meds were sent home for the DogDogDogTheCatButtLicker, too). He's been assessed at being about 8 weeks. He's 2 lbs 3 oz. OH! And he is a he! Officially!
I wasn't entirely sure, to be honest with you. I mean, I had guessed that he was a he, but I wasn't 100% certain. No wonder. His little kitten bits haven't descended yet.
hahaha
Now that we are sure that he is a he, we got to the bit of naming him. MyFavoriteKid has been ranting that he MUST be named Gaara (one of his favorite anime characters, from the Naruto series). MyFK told me that even if I named the cat something else, he would still call the cat Gaara anyhow.
Gaara's a redhead and has kitty eyes, so I guess it's pretty fitting.
I like Gaara (the character) but I aint too thrilled with the name because it doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Unless you say it like you are Japanese (sounds more like Gah-da instead of Gar-rah). And then if you say it in Japanese three times fast it almost sounds like kittykittykitty. Or maybe even a bit like purring.
Truth be told, I supposed it doesn't really matter what we name him. All of my animals end up with 20 nicknames anyhow, so I'll probably just be calling him KittenHead or something most the time.
But the vet records and the tag on the collar will say Gaara!
mini post with whine
I'm beat. The dog and the kitten are driving me nuts. They mostly get along super great....
And then the dog "over-luvs" on the kitteh.
Then the kitteh dashes and hides underneath the nightstand.
Then the dog goes and fetches his dog toys one by one and lays them out in a trail to seduce the cat out of hiding....
...which I admit, is very cute and entertaining.
But then the cat comes out to check out the trail of toys and gets over-luv'd on again, and then dashes in the closet.
It's got a Tom & Jerry sort of feel to it.
Back n forth it goes, and I keep having to intervene and fish the cat out of hiding to make sure he has a chance to eat and pee and poop (which is important, since he has tagged the bed twice already because the dog wouln't let him pass over to where the cat box is located. Lovely, eh??).
It makes me tired.
